“Bought an S80 on Amazon for $100. Tried to have it calibrated a couple months later, but couldn't because it was three years old. I was offered a whopping $40 off a new unit. So either I shell out another $80 ($120 for a new one less the discount) or am stuck with an unreliable and therefore pointless breathalyzer.... When the S80 is calibrated, it works well. But it should be calibrated every year ($25 for that)- and apparently every two years you have to buy a new one because once it's no longer under warranty, they will claim it can't be calibrated and you need a new one.”
“Very accurate and easy to use. Right out of the box I was able to use it. I didn't even read the instructions. I did of course at one point just to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
