“I do not use this product to drive drunk/buzzed. I use it to make sure my BAC is 0.000 for when I have to use my interlock to start my car. This product has emilinated the guessing and saved my lots of money in potential fines from the DMV.”
“Keep it in a drawer for when he have a party.
We dare the guests to try it out before they leave,
gives us a sense of responsibility and the opportunity to offer
alternate means of transportation”
“Bought an S80 based on reviews by independent researchers. I have been extremely happy with and confident with the performance of the unit. I have sent it in annually for calibration. I just recently sent my S80 in and was sent a new unit. I love the fact that
though the unit was out of warranty they replaced it. I assume that there was an issue discovered during the calibration process. Only wish I had received a note on what happened with my other unit. The S80 performs well based on personal and professional reviews and test. I do not believe in using it as a tool to see that I can drive (< 0.08) but rather to monitor and stay around 0.02 -0.04. Fantastic tool when used correctly.”
“I gave my first BACTrack S80 to my daughter over a year ago. It has made her and her friends become more responsible when they consume alcohol because they will call a cab instead of driving while impaired. I just gave one to my son, who just turned 21, so that he is aware of his impairment when he drinks alcohol. Well worth the investment.”
“My wife and I use it to test ourselves, which is informative in its own right. Very interesting to discover tolerances, differences between wine and liquor, etc. As for the device itself, it is very reliable (I had a cheaper one of a different brand that wasn't), very easy to use, and seems to be accurate with annual recalibration.”
“I have had my new bactrac for a couple weeks now,. I have used it when friends were over and had a couple drinks, thought they were good (legal to drive, but the bactrac showed 0.06 (impaired in most states- you're going to be arrested), so instead they stayed an hour and level dropped to 0.04 (legal in all states)”
