“I am 77, a very light drinker, and, when I came of drinking age years years ago, the universal image of a fine meal was a pre-dinner cocktail, a rare steak washed down with a glass or two of vintage cabernet finished with a snifter of French cognac and coffee. Try that scenario today, drive home and you expose yourself to jail, $10,000+ in legal and insurance penalties and the various humiliations of being
considered a criminal. Become involved in an accident, even not of your fault,or injure or kill someone and the consequences become nightmarish. I have no argument with current laws; they are right and growing in their severity. This little device, while only registering three digits [.001, .002...] can act as a key chain for your car-keys and slightly overstates levels that police-level breathalyzers record. All legitimate devices need re-calibrating after 150-250 uses, which costs about $25 and involves mail and time. Since Bactrack has got the price down to that amount, it seems to me the obvious choice.”
“I was really hoping to get a proper calibration report with an "As Found" and "As Left" document showing calibration drift (or lack of drift). Also, the unit seems to read high compared to what it did before I sent it off (based on my drinking habits and what the last year of readings has taught me). Almost wish I hadn't sent it off for calibration.”
“Got it as my birthday gift Last June, but the product was not working. Customer service said the product should be calibrated once a year and the product was manufactured in 2014. Thus, the product never worked. Joshua at the customer service was great to replace it with refurbished one without any warranty. Overall, Joshua was good and am happy with what he did.”
