BACtrack Breathalyzer Calibration BACtrack S80 / Expedited Service Reviews

4.6 Rating 664 Reviews
My organization recently purchased 8 of these devices, and they have performed as reasonably as you'd expect for a hand-held "blood chemistry sensor." We've been using each one about 20 times per week for 1-2 years, and haven't had many problems. Last month, one of them started reading 10x higher than it should (verified with another unit), so we sent it in for the ~$30 "recalibration". Turns out they sent us back a new one instead of the same one, so I don't know what that means for the status of the original. Overall, a good unit for basic monitoring of BAC, but not super accurate/precise.

My breathalyzer stopped working and I called customer service. I sent it to them by USPS and they returned it in under 10 days. Hardly missed a beat. I have 3 of them just in case and give them as presents to my friends who like wine.

My original s80 was unable to be recalibrated after sixteen months from new. Backtrack waived the $24.99 calibration fee and gave me a substantial discount on a new unit.

Not much to say really. You ship it and they return it to you. But the process was simple.
