“I purchased an S80 model which appeared to need calibration after a year of use. I sent the product in to BacTrack for calibration. They could not re-calibrate the device so they sent me a brand new one as a replacement. That was a very pleasant surprise since my original was already past the one year warranty period.”

“This is my second S80. Worth every penny as it keeps you compliant and safe to drive. My only advice is - keep it calibrated and use it regularly. I sent mine in for a recalibration after 2+ years only to be told that I'd left it too long and it couldn't be recalibrated and I needed to buy a new unit. I asked Bactrack to replace the sensor and they said they didn't refurbish units and I'd have to buy a new one. I did buy a replacement but I have to say I was a little disappointed as I see refurbs being sold out there an they kept my old unit ! So for $20 a year for recalibration I'd advise doing that. That's why I rated them at 4 stars and not 5.”
