“These boots are cosy, comfortable, and look great. BUT and for me it’s a huge but - it took me 15 minutes to get one on! I do have quite a high instep but this was a whole different level of difficulty. Couldn’t find my shoe horn so wrestled with a wooden spoon to finally get it on. Dripping in sweat from the effort, I admired the boot (and my red face) in the mirror. I then needed a family member to drag me about the floor to remove the boot. Thank goodness I only got 1 on or I may have needed hospitalised! Look amazing but sadly, much too stressful to keep. Rethink the design Bareback!”

“Looking for a pair of boots to do everything, and these are great and fill the bill brilliantly. I've a high instep so even after three weeks use they are still difficult to get on even with a shoe horn. I would really have appreciated a boot-pull loop on the front of the ankle as well as the back, but they are getting easier to get on every day. I will be using dubbin on them, so the suede is a bit wasted, plain leather all over might be easier to clean and maintain. However once i've got them on, these boots are comfortable, warm, light and look great. I recommend strongly.”

“After having been looking for a comfortable, yet stylish, walking boot that was waterproof I stumbled across these boots on an Instagram add. I read the reviews, loved the look of the design and ordered! Very quick delivery and they are even more beautiful in real life. The quality of the leather and workmanship is outstanding and my god they feel like slippers they are so comfortable!!!”

“I purchased these for dog walking in muddy fields and through the woods. I found they need a shoe horn to put them on. The arch support wasn’t adequate, however after speaking to Emma in customer services, I tried an insole. The insole resolved the support issue. I love the style of the boot, they are now very comfortable to wear and they are waterproof, so great for those muddy fields. Excellent customer service.”

“I tried every boot on in the showroom, staff member was extremely patient and very helpful. Boots come up big so I went down half a size. They are really hard to get on but are great boots for muddy walks. Love them.”

“These are brilliant boots! Comfy, well made & warm…..the first time l wore them for 11 hours straight or a days work….it was like I’d had them for years! My only grumble is, is the sizing…..I wish they did these in a 5 1/2! The 6 which l normally am runs a little big, even with thick socks but I’ve put in an additional sheepskin insole in which has improved the fit but still a slight bit of ‘for-slide’…..the 5 would have been too tight! Otherwise I’ve no complaints & am extremely happy with them.”
