“I was blown away by this course and with the delivery platform! I have lots of bread books, including Richard’s with CD’s, but I don’t recall being able to get the real process down as I did by watching the videos in this course.
I took another bread course on another well-known platform and had that book also and tried the recipe as demo’d, but it wasn’t successful. I can add to this review after I bake something, but I can just say now I was able to “get” the methods, the way to stand and move while working the dough (very good tips by the way), and how the dough should look and feel (and almost smell) from his very generous and precise teaching. I appreciated his advice to get the method down with simple breads and then move on to the sourdoughs.
Overall I loved it and expect to make most of the recipes. Want to make brioche but maybe not right after all the holiday indulging! I’ve never really felt like I could do brioche before, but pretty sure I could do his—just using the little balls in a loaf pan would be great to me!”

“Richard is clearly a passionate artisan baker who explains things very carefully - but not boring. He is very encouraging. I would recommend his course to beginers and bakers with some experience.”

“love the dough instructions, but shocked there is no croissant making,esp. with bagels and hamburger buns there. really odd......if you add that, I would give this 5 star.”

“Lovely recipes but not a masterclass. Very vague instructions on how to determine when the bulk fermentation and prove are complete, which is essential for breadmaking. Relies too much on timings and room temperature (not defined). So, unfortunately the sourdough recipe I tried was overproofed.”

“I enjoy the detail steps Richard shows when using the dough. Like when he did the pizza how it cooks in the oven an the brick oven. how it affects the texture.
I have learned to have respect for sourdough.. the whole process behind on how long it takes.
Also Richard's voice is soothing so its nice to play him in he background while I'm working.”
