One of the best, most interesting, professionally presented online courses I've ever taken! Makes me want to get my hands in the dough! Loved the class and the instructor was awesome.

Great stuff but my bread does not turn out like Richard’s. Would be great to include a troubleshooting section in each video.

Hi Tom, Thanks for your review. We value every BBC Maestro customer, and really value your feedback. All courses have detailed course notes to accompany them, which a lot of learners find really useful when watching a course, especially when applying the practical techniques taught in the course. Perhaps these will help you troubleshoot! I hope this helps, but feel free to contact our amazing customer service team at support@bbcmaestro.com if you would like more support! Keep going - practice makes perfect :) Best, Rebecca

Bread Making: Richard Bertinet I have met you Richard through this course. I have to own an asset like one you have: the over “27-year-old mother sour dough starter”, loaded with both of nutritional goodness and complex flavours You have relentlessly shared with me most of your Pastry Chef tricks. Thanks a million for sharing and giving me the blue print to start making my own bread

Finally got the confidence and time yo attempt the French baguette. I had to watch the video several times but nailed it! Everything worked well, from the ferment to dough to folding! I didn't have peels but improvised. Thanks Chef Next try: Focaccia

I watched a couple of these lessons. He’s often referred to as one of the greatest of all time or the best baker. He has a nice temperament and humour it felt like a very instructive approach. As baking is built on solid foundations he explains the same rules over and over.
