“I'm halfway through and Alan's guidance on the thought process and mindset for writing us incredibly helpful. It's not a step by step guide to writing a story, and is much more interested in the way to create and how to make your story interesting. But as an insight into his technique, as well as helpful ideas to inspire yourself, it's wonderful.”

“Alan’s course was like soothing cup of tea with an elder. Gems of wisdom delivered by magic.
When he asks you to study his face, look at the eyes, this is a being that has created fantastic worlds, touched and changed peoples live and at the same time been bullied by the corporate machine and his fate. Every spell takes its toll. I didn’t join the BBC Maestro for his course, it was Julia Donaldson’s course. I am glad i did. Julia's course was perfect and i would highly recommend it . Alan's however was more spirtual and has been roaming round by head for the last few days. Thank you Alan, thank you Julia.”

“"Anyone can write. Probably, everyone should write." With such encouragement magician Alan Moore weaves a spell around our minds so that we believe it. How to sum up this course? Let the masterful words of this Master Storyteller in his own novel "Voice of the Fire" describe it: "This is the magic place, the mad place at the spark gap between word and world." Amen.”
