He presents the course, information, in the tone of speaking "to" the person instead of at them.

Hearing a literary great like Alan Moore talking about his craft in a structured way (and for six plus hours!) is a real gift. The format and production are also nicely done. It has real direction (with a set), unlike Master Class. Neil Gaiman's MasterClass is very good but Alan Moore's BBC Maestro is excellent. Haven't had a chance to read through it, but the course material looks like a complete transcript, which is a nice touch.
