“Some of the earlier lessons weren't terribly informative, but soon Edgar got down to the nitty gritty. He took apart the process of making a film - from ideas, to structure, to casting, to editing - all enriched with practical examples from his own work and that of others. And I appreciated his can-do attitude, showing how he made things happen in his own career, coming from a small town with no connections to the industry.”
