“I just listened to the excerpt of Lee’s letter to his grandfather; I’m a mess! So heartfelt! Mr. Child brings out some amazing nuggets like keep your character consistent in who he or she is. The tips on first person, third person are very informative as well as just calling someone the flower shop owner so readers don’t get confused with who you’re referring to. Keeping politically neutral, not fizzling out on big action motives, making writing flexible enough to be adaptable for a TV series and so much more. Writing books that can be read out of sequence is an invaluable tip as well. Can you tell that I am impressed? I’m grateful for this learning opportunity and experience.
