I am re-examining my writing in the light of these lessons. Sometimes finding it wanting, sometimes not. After the first lesson I found the direction irritating, face on, profile, face on profile, bit of a pan round the room. In the end I turned off the picture. There are just so much of those blue eyes I could take.”
