“This was my first course and I enjoyed every minute of it. I have listened to pod casts on how to write a novel, but this was so much more personal and interesting. Partly because I have read some of his books and could relate to what he was saying. The conversational manner was easy to listen to and I felt like he was talking to me.
I would like to make one correction to his presentation, the bridge he referred to with John Lewis is in Alabama, not Mississippi.”

“Absolutely bloody marvellous. I don't always agree with what he says but he puts it so there is room for debate and a place for me to take what I want and leave the rest.
Thought provoking and stimulating.”

“Ken Follett doesn't waste words. He gets right to the point, giving you all the info you need and often making references to other books including his own, which I find helpful and illuminating. I really should tick every single lesson, as they all deserve a thumbs-up. Although I have had books published, I have lacked that bestselling touch and hope I will have more success with my work by the time I have finished this course.”

“All I can say is Wow! re: Ken Follet's writing course - Writing Bestselling Fiction.
I am struck by the amount of writing experience that Ken has access to. He has opened my eyes to novel writing and how much work that it entails.
Ken is a very perceptive, clear, communicator who is used to dealing with speaking to an audience.
His course is eloquent, succinct, humorous, and engaging. I have listened to two parts per day in the last week or so and I have not been bored.
I have also taken lots of valuable notes/advice from his great intelligence, which he wears lightly.
I like the meticulous way that he presents the course information, (especially those helpful little details from his own writing experience)). I also how Ken keeps his delivery earthy, and concise.
Another plus is that he has guests who have experience in writing and research that is different from his own. I find it useful to have alternative points of view about the best-selling novel process. This is a great example for me to follow when I get to that particular phase in my writing.
Ken gives many wonderful examples of how a best-selling novel is written from his work, as well as from literary masters. This encourages me in my quest to write a really good novel. in the next three years!
I'd recommend this writing course if you are thinking about writing a novel, particularly a historical, or a thriller book.
Ken Follet's Writing Best-Selling Fiction sessions give you more than enough information to inspire you; do the initial research, and most importantly, challenge yourself to create/write the best novel that you can.
I'm already writing my outline before I begin my research...”

“My goodness this is the business, I've gone from flummoxed and floundering to concise and flowing.
The structure that he recommends is taking the wonder out of this daunting task.
My first novel is called 248, watch out for it in the best new talent genre. lol
Thank you so very very much, he is brilliant!”
