“My biggest takeway was how important collaboration is when making a photo, particulalry relating to portraint photography. Special shout out to Giles Duley - love his humanity. Would be great to see other photography courses aimed at other topics (e.g. landscape, architecture).”

“I've just started this course and am enjoying it very much. It has encouraged me to explore my phone camera more and not just take photos on Automatic. Rankin's warm personality shines through and he interviews other photographers who provide different perspectives.”

“It is disappointing that the content is dominated by lengthy wordy pieces, including with guests, concerning high level thoughts and reflections about personal attributes and qualities that may help make a good photographer. Many technical aspects are covered but only as an overview of available functionality and with minimal content as how can be used to improve photographs in practice. I had assumed the whole package would be similar to the useful Extra Tips in section 31, but this is only 2 minutes long.”
