What was your primary motivation for purchasing this course? Learn a new skill
I have really enjoyed this course. I do some local art classes myself - not oils - but Jonathan has really inspired me with his approach to tone, composition, lighting and subject matter.

Thoroughly enjoying this course so far but feel there is very little actual painting tuition so probably not suitable for a beginner, but that said he makes you consider all the other aspects involved before you even pick up a paintbrush.

Jonathan is a great tutor but there's too much talking. More demonstration please.

Johnathan Yeo is a fine artist with a considerable range of skills. What he is not is a communicator. I did enjoy a small percentage of his videos but the vast majority of it was confusing and contradicting. All done in a very rambling manner. It was very disappointing to me, I was looking forward to learning about the process of painting in oils. I am afraid the notes were no help as they were in the same style. Elliott Oakes
