“I’m not all the way through yet, but I’d liked to have seen more information like does he use Acrylic to prime the canvas with colour or just oil? Whilst his sitter is a lovely handsome gentlemen, I would have preferred to see a sitter of Caucasian extraction as the colours are much more difficult to get right. Also the face and background meld a lot so difficult to see what exactly he’s painting. I feel he’s doing this but also worried about future competition.”

“Perhaps it is because he is a self taught painter or that the course isn't really aimed at artists but I found this course useless. The amount of talking he does was painful to sit through all to find a few nuggets of worthwhile information. I am half way through the hours of video and am not sure I can watch the rest. He is not a teacher. He does not have to explain over and over that there isn't a right way or wrong way to do something but he does it.... yes I get it and it his way of doing things that I want to hear about, but I can't bear to listen to the rest of it. Just get to the point. I am sad that I wasted my money on this course. If I can stomach the rest of the videos and in the unlikely case that it gets better I will revise this review . I would rather get my money back.”
