This course wasn't what I expected (ie, it wasn't Getting Things Done in a different hat). It was much more concerned with thinking about what things are actually important to you, and how to come to terms with the fact your to do list will never be finished, and much of it isn't worth starting. Choose what really matters, & try to dump your ego and everyone else's expectations. I found Oliver Burkeman to be engaging and entertaining, which made the course even more interesting and enjoyable. Thanks!

This set of lessons are the learnt wisdoms of what Oliver Burkeman has realised himself through his own experiences. He mentions many instances from real life. These wisdoms are valuable because we can all relate to probably 99% of these in some form and easily reflect on possible changes for ourselves. With a little bit of accent on suggestions as tasks, this course is not overly prescriptive or full of promises in the traditional expectation of lesson delivery.. What's great is that he focuses on why Time management is really important and the simple answer is tto enjoy Life, give more time not less. ....This may seem obvious, but it makes us question EVERYTHING! The value of sharing his experiences through lifestyle changes, is that we can visualise and feel the actual effects. This is remarkably helpful in helping the audience to reflect on their own real lives, and work towards their own preferred changes with the confidence that pausing, taking a breath, making a small change is accessible and can make a difference. His journey learning through unexpected changes, has been very organic, simply following the path but genuinely seeking the right direction. He is a very reflective and analytical person, . I would suggest that for those - ost of us seeking to better time management skills, even though this may not be his style, a short bullet list of keywordsnof what he found as positives, may help to stick in the mind of many in the audience who may require a few hooks of encouragement, because that is how they will best recall what was valuable in his lessons. Apologies to drone on......

It's interesting, well presented and helpful. I find it a little slow at times. My husband is watching it with me and he doesn't find it slow, so this is just me. The changes in location helped. The metahors helped. The visual of the jug of sand and jar of stones was excellent. More visuals might help in future, but it's perfectly good as it stands. And he is a lovely, warm and engaging tutor. Thank you.
