“Beautifully produced - it's like hanging out with an encouraging/knowledgeable friend who wants you to win at life (and acting, obviously).
Additional to the valuable performance advice, Brian is refreshingly honest about the difficulties & challenges all actors face, including himself. This is useful because it allows us, as students, to be realistic with our pursuit.
The conversations were excellent, especially with casting director Nancy Bishop – I appreciated her candid critique of the actress' self tape.
I watched this course with a notepad and pen nearby. Suffice to say I filled many pages with useful wisdom & insight.

“Brian Cox's course was very insightful for me. I am a Spanish actress living in Barcelona. I've worked in Theatre but this gave me a wider range of tools to work on for the upcoming jobs. I admire Brian and you can see he has a deep respect for each word written on the page and each person that works in this industry. This level of connection is what makes him pay attention to each detail, which I sometimes oversaw — maybe because I have yet not had many working experiences. I strongly recommend it, as there are a lot of tools to work on throughout your life. It also gave me hope, and a sense of responsibility from now on. The PDF file with the notes is exquisite.
