“I have found this absolutely perfect. It was clear, practical and delivered in a friendly realistic way. I loved the way she reinforced her main points (who doesn't need that?) so I could relax knowing that the important points would be in my head by the end. So delighted to have found bbc Maestro.”

“The course was well presented and able me to look at my sleep anxiety more cognitively. Good sleep doesn’t mean a good day and bad sleep also doesn’t give a bad day.”

“I really enjoyed the course, very informative and well delivered. I have learn a lot of new topics and good tips to improve my sleep, which I will definitely use. The only downside for me is the repetition of information in some of the lessons, which could have been condensed or only mentioned once. This could also be due to the fact that I have listened the course in a row, without many breaks and therefore the topics were still very fresh in my memory.
I would say very good and useful.”
“I have had sleep issues myself. I manage them better mostly nowadays, but intiially they were a shock and realistically my "dealing" with it was awful. A lesson in how not to do it!
I have completed CBTi (insomnia training) and read various books etc. It has all helped. But if i had to pick a route for help, I would pick this course. I thought Stephanie had a great manner, calm but factual and the content was very good. I have watched many of the episodes, many times. It gives a good grounding and understanding, and my opinion is that this should help, even if something like CBTi is also required afterwards for those complex cases or where you wish further help.
Thank you Stephanie, and Maestro for bringing this to me.
I have had made good progress with my sleep, and if I were asked for one thing I would offer, I would say, having a bad night, not sleeping well, is ok. You will manage, maybe not quite as well as normal, but it will be ok. When you understand this emotionally and experience it, it is true. I may have a night thats not so good. Ironically, bad nights have taught me this. When you think you may have a bad night, you need to feel (and beleive), "so what".
For anyone out there struggling, you have my empathy and best wishes, and know, many many people find solutions here.”
