What a terrific course. I struggle with sleep and this course has provided solid information to help me sleep better. Another awesome BBC Maestro course!

very practical course with loads of theory applied to real life. I have listed to Mathew Walker course on Masterclass which was a revelation to me. Stephanie's is more advanced version with practical tips about not relying on too much data retrieved from smart wathes and sleep trackers

As a long term insomniac the focus on "getting-up" time is invaluable, cost free and immediately accessible, motivating and encouraging me to adopt a fresh approach take responsibility for monitoring my progress. Stephanie's understanding of sleep issues and her delivery of a simple, straightforward guidance of a two week course coupled with a sensible, re-assuring discussion of anxiety and the numerous hacks aimed at sleeping difficulties are well presented. ( I have tried expensive courses stipulating I stay up extremely late before bedtime for weeks with detrimental effects for my well -being and dislike the effects of medication).

Hi, I've had sleep problems for most of my life which I think I have overcome by trial and error. But I have learned so much from Stephanie's course and it has given me confidence to to go sleep. I have tried her techniques and they work. Thank you!

As an old person with chronic insomnia, I was hesitant to follow this course, as I felt I have tried everything before over the years! However, I was very surprised to find myself learning a lot from the course, and will try all the recommendations. My only real gripe is that the presenter frequently suggested discussing issues with your GP and accessing CBTi. In my experience, particularly in recent years, the support available from th NHS is zero! Cuts to provision such as a local "sleep clinic" mean there is no help and very little expertise available. I have failed to find any access to CBTi locally, nor any helpful reference in your course notes for the UK. Disappointing!

The advice about a constant wake up time has proved helpful as has the advice not to let anxiety over sleeping take over.
