I liked it. Some of it was not specific enough but I liked her a lot and enjoyed it overall.

If you are serious, then this course is worth doing a few times. There is a lot to take in and I liked that I could listen to sections again as a reminder. I work both as a teacher and in direct sales. I found the content so helpful in both aspects of my life. Thank you for doing this Evy.

All the BBC Maestro presenters are fantastic - relaxed, articulate informative, great pacing, intelligent. I've enjoyed Jed Mercurio, Carol Ann Duffy, and just now Evy Poumpouras. I hope to complete all the courses as they're all so interesting, but Evy's is helpful to me right now as I apply for new roles. Thoroughly enjoyed her guest in ep23! Surprised at that, it was great.

What was your primary motivation for purchasing this course? Learn a new skill
I signed up for BBC Maestro specifically to take Evy Poumpouras’s course, without knowing her work beforehand. She immediately stood out as assertive, sharp, and fearless, someone who naturally commands attention while making the lessons feel personal and relatable. The conversational interview with her husband was a highlight; the way they looked at each other with genuine admiration and respect was inspiring. The finale, where she shared her lived experience of September 11, was equally powerful and grounding, a reminder that relationships are what matter most. The course has already given me practical tools to strengthen how I communicate and connect with others. I was so impressed that I ordered her book and look forward to continuing the learning. This class is insightful, engaging, and absolutely worth the investment.

The way it was presented in the advertisement set my expectations way too high but overall it’s a nice learning but average. I liked the labeling of people behavior piece from t-Rex to lion , to monkey and mouse and not to take it personal. Explaining the concepts and context is fine but the challenging part is implementing it on the ground is where most of us find it hard. My suggestion is to include some interactive quizzes and exercises after every session.

Great course! Breaks interactions down and puts into good context. Some things may be new, some you have noticed over time but this breaks it down nicely so when you now notice these different types of interactions you can practice on how to best handle the situation.

Outstanding! And I'm one of those "experts" Evvy referred to as going into a course thinking if I find even one tidbit it's worth it. Wow! One tidbit? Dozens and dozens. Already listened twice, and plan to do so again. Thanks Evvy!
