“I had no idea Isabel Allende was so funny. Her course is focused on multiple points in the writing process, but told with humor. The exercises were useful. I think I've watched all of the writing courses, except the ones focused on writing for children or young adults. They've all had their high points and interesting differences.”

“(tl;dr this course is great for beginners) In my opinion, a masterclass isn't supposed to be for beginners. This course covers the basics, and does it well, but I would have loved a little more introspection about the struggle in her writing process and how she managed to work around them. Maybe a class for people who are already writing but are not at their top potential yet. I thought that's what masterclasses were about.”

“I have almost finished the course and Wish It was longer. Isabel Allende has a way of relating her ideas and stories in a truly thought provoking manner. She has provided many interesting tips and perspectives and am eager to try them out. Elegant and quietly joyous I found her to be and excellent teacher. I love the Yellow flowered bull in the background setting....he can surely narrate her next novel”
