“Interesting, entertaining and informative. Lots of useful tips and exercises that are not complicated. Some are quick to finish and others I’ve taken longer over when they’ve resonated with me and what I’m writing at the moment. I like that I can fit listening and following the exercises in to suit my free time and as a result I’ve found the whole course unpressured. I’ve been listening to each podcast and then reading the transcript and often I’ve done this more than once. I’ve picked up plenty of ideas to help with my writing and planning future projects.
I’m glad I’ve signed up for ongoing access to so the Maestro masterclasses as I know I’ll be coming back and listening again for a long time.”

“It's an excellent course for beginner writers. However, I was looking for a more advanced class for experienced/published writers on writing magical realism.”

“Isabel is a marvellous tutor; she is excellent at explaining the good and the not so good when trying to write your first book, for example. I enjoy her reference to her own writing to illustrate a point - very useful. I am about about half way through the course and feel that I have learnt a lot already !”

“Loved this course. Burst out laughing when she explained why she still writes in Spanish: "When I make love, I don't pant in English—that would be ridiculous!"”
