How would you rate the course based on skills & knowledge learnt?
“Really useful, and some great insights, which cross over to my area of music making. However, it would be useful if in the future someone did something on rap music.”

“Gary speaks straight from the heart and reveals how he went about constructing songs that became major hits (ie, his thinking processes). His words are sincere and you know that he is earnestly trying to get some of his stardust to rub on his pupils.”
“Ok its not so full of much 'real' content for me so far.
By far the most interesting section has been Gary working out a new song. I need some training on chords and wish I could play keyboards better to keep up. That section was fascinating and made me laugh - partly at recognition of humming away like a madman trying to find the melody and partly at just how much of a total geek Gary is. But he talked a little about very important things including the psychological aspect. That was great to watch and great to see his faith come through in a little segment that I couldn't see at first sounded so good.”

“It's inspiring me to go for things more. I especially found it helpful in what he was saying about really developing a song until you can't develop it anymore / you're bored of it. It's inspiring me to go back to songs I was working on & really develop them to their full potential & release them. I like that the different topics are divided into separate videos so I can learn about different aspects of things, e.g. he has 1 video on confidence and another video on creativity.”

“Honestly, I signed up simply to hear Gary talk. I found the instructional parts of how he creates a song to be absolutely fascinating. Simply starting with a feeling, going to a thesaurus and finding descriptive words, and ending up with a song was powerful. I actually feel like I could write a song!”
