“Coming from somebody with no experience in writing for television, and from somebody who can quite easily get distracted when undertaking courses, I am so pleased I purchased this. Jed explains everything in a way I can easily visualise and the manner in which he likens the theory and methodology of screenwriting to the laws of maths and physics makes this totally relatable to me. Furthermore, knowing that he too had a background in science and not storytelling, yet has created such thrilling and addictive dramas, is very inspirational to me. In terms of course content, everything makes perfect sense to me. I already had a couple of vague storylines wafting around in my mind, however, I find that the course is allowing me to focus, clarify and prevent me making - not mistakes - but decisions that potentially wouldn’t make my pilot and Series Bible stand out to the right people. The course notes are also a good idea, yet I find writing my own notes too helps me digest the information. I have another 8 lessons to go but Jed’s guidance and advice so far has certainly helped me progress and has triggered a new-found belief in myself. If I’m being totally honest, that’s not something I’ve really felt before. I highly recommend!”
