Since I recently retired, this was my first look at screenwriting as a potential new career. The level of detail provided was excellent, and I say that as someone who previously had a background in education and training. I really enjoyed it and have gone back to view things a few times since beginning my scriptwriting course. Thank you for the amazing insight this gives. I have recommended it to several people. I think that Jed Mercurio is an excellent choice of tutor for teaching this particular course, I love his work. I enjoy writing screenplays and wanted to learn how to do this in a more professional way, the guidance offered by Jed made me feel this was possible. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and even although I have completed it I still dip in and out of lessons and notes when I am struggling with my writing and need a reminder of any part of the script writing process. Excellent.

Found the whole course informative, interesting and did shy away from complex thoughts and advice. Thanks for a great course. Howard

Granted, I'm only on EPS 16, but so far, it's a talking head interview. Same with the Bill Lawrence course. How do you guys produce an online class about writing, when less than 20% of the class shows the teacher writing? There's a classroom scenario that's intercut throughout this class. Why isn't THAT the class? Where are the examples of him breaking a story, beating an EPS, and working in a writer's room? great subject, great subject choice, Poorly produced

Jed's explanations are really tangible. I like the way he connects theory and practice. His own expierence has always its part and time but it is not overdosed.
