“It was delivered with aplomb and with a subtle touch of humour and although it’s not an exact science it helps to understand how listening to his love of words and writing and working with different people along the way have shaped a marvellous career …… and sometimes being in the right place at the right time … sliding doors.. like so many things in our lives but listening to the experience of writers and musicians only fuels the desire to write one successful song that warms the heart and joins people from all walks of life together
