“Having taken oenology class in the past, I didn't expect to find too much new information in here. But besides being great wine expert, Jancis Robinson is also a fantastic presenter. The course is built up logically, and explained so an absolute beginner can understand it while giving new information for more experienced learners. I especially loved how she brought in the environmental angle and the shifts it brings into the wine world, a factor that even serious wine courses often omit. And of course her personal wine recommendations and tips are just a gem. The best course I attended for a long time!”

“This is one of the longer courses of the BBC Maestro growing collection and is worth every minute of watching time. The details and tutorials throughout are excellent and the pace of Jancis Robinson is very good. No waffle, just pure fact and education. I have personally learnt alot and the course has opened my eyes quite considerably about the facts of wine, lifted the mystique of what is good and what one needs to look out for when buying wine. An excellent course, and yes I would recommend it.”

“A great way to pass a wet day indoors ! Saying that I did learn some intreating facts who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks. A very helpful course and would recommend to everyone wishing to improve threr knowledge of wine”
