ZOWIE EC1-CW Wireless Mouse For Esports Reviews

3.5 Rating 2 Reviews
I have been using the EC2-A for a few years before and I had been wanting to try wireless. I waited to go wireless until this mouse came out and I was pumped about the release. I was noticing weird lag issues where it almost seemed like I was getting packet loss when playing FPS games like CoD/Warzone, THE FINALS, and most recently Marvel Rivals. I didn't have the issue with any other mice and was able to resolve the issue by plugging in the EC1-CW instead of using wireless. While that was fine for a while, I decided to try a different wireless mouse out (Rayzer Deathadder v3 Hyperspeed) and have not gone back. I did reach out to Zowie support at one time about this and I remember feeling crazy blaming the mouse. At the time, I did not have any other wireless mice to test it against and I wish I would've gotten a refund before the warranty ran out. I am more annoyed because of how much I loved the EC2-A and used it for several years. I figured the wait behind a wireless Zowie mouse was because they were making a flawless mouse and working through the bugs. In the end, that was not the case.

This is a really good mouse for $100. The shape is perfect for long fingers, I personally like the ratcheting style scroll wheel, and overall the mouse is well built. It's not a feather-weight mouse but it is very light for its size. There also tons of user experience features like the DPI button and the extra items that are included (cables, wireless receivers/charging station).
