ZOWIE FK2-DW 4K Wireless Mouse for Esports Reviews

4.6 Rating 7 Reviews
I was using the wired version of the FK2 already, and decided to switch to wireless. I’m blown away by the update the FK2 received in recent years. It’s even more crisp and beautiful than before, and it performs just as well. The thing that really floored me though was Zowie’s design for the Enhanced Receiver. An antenna that sits on your desk, looking really attractive, looking intentional, rather than the dangling afterthought of a usb wire that kinda hangs out on your desk when the mouse isn’t plugged in. The antenna also acts as a dock for the mouse when it needs to be charged. Absolutely brilliant. Elegant and simple, the way design should be. My only problems with it are that the battery doesn’t last very long before it needs a recharge, and that the plastic shell needs to be made of something a bit more durable, so that the mouse doesn’t show hand oils so easily. On the other hand, when it is low on battery, the enhanced receiver dock charges the mouse in like 15 minutes flat, so it’s not that big of a deal.

The FK2 shape is the best mouse shape ever, bar NONE. The wireless edition is perfect technologically, has a very good receiver, high polling rate, good DPI choices, good battery, etc.. Only caveat is that the mouse is quite heavy for a modern gaming mouse and $160 is still quite a steep price when there are great wireless mice for much cheaper.

Long time Zowie user, been using using a Zowie FK2 since the days Zowie was a stand alone company before BenQ, back when the logo was yellow and a box. I've been iffy about going wireless, used the GPX and GPX2 and just couldnt stick with it, always ended up going back to the cord of a FK2, was happy to see Snax use a FK2 Wireless during a tournament and was just on the wait for the release. Once I saw the order button I did not hesitate and bought it. So far I love it, sticking to my 500 polling rate even thought 4K is a nice touch. Love how light it is compared to the wired model. Only wish they would do a gloss white version.

Mouse is like a sports car Feedback: I do not understand why you would put a hole with the docking charger in the middle of the top piece of ptfe, it's just asking to scratch the ptfe when trying to dock it and collect dust. Other than that it's an S tier mouse, I've been using it non stop.

Amazing mouse with little room for improvement. Packaging is fantastic as well as the shape and the clicks.
