1080p Outdoor Projector with Extra Bass Bluetooth Speakers, IPX2 | GS50 Reviews

4.8 Rating 10 Reviews
The GS50 outdoor projector is an excellent choice for backyard movie nights or outdoor entertaining. With its bright 1080p resolution and 5000 lumens, the picture quality is crisp and vibrant even in partially lit environments. The built-in speakers pack a punch with powerful bass that really brings movies and music to life. Setup is a breeze with multiple ports for HDMI, USB, and other inputs. I am using the projector mostly in my bedrooom to stream shows and movies - probably around 70 inch. There have been consistently updates and some software bugs that came up half way into my Benq GS50 journey, were solved shortly after (think: Google changes how AndroidTV works, so the Benq developers had to catch up; for a moment, I thought, this was going to remain an issue, but they are really always imrpoving where possible). I love that I can quickly move it to my living room when I want to and having a tiny apartment, this mobility and small size along with the great sound definitely comes in handy. So far, we have used it twice outdoors and it was performing great. I don't have a backyard, or I'd probably use it outside more frequently. Overall, the GS50 is a fantastic outdoor projector that delivers a great experience at a reasonable price point.

We’ve used this outside in the summer for neighborhood movie nights. I like that it has speakers so the setup is super easy and they’re plenty loud. We plug an iPad into it for watching movies. Brightness is great after sunset, can be a little hard to see before then.

I have had this projector for awhile now and i love it! The charge on this device is great, and the flexibility to project from different devices has been awesome! The speakers on this device are remarkable, and it also has the ability to connect to a bigger speaker depending on your audience. The only problem i have is how dark it needs to be outside to project, but i knew what to expect based off the ANSI Lumens(500). Overall, great product!

I've been very pleased with the projector. I use it for outdoor family movie nights. The Google TV software is solid and supports all the apps I need. My only issue is that the projecter needs to be "in contact" with the remote at all times, otherwise a warning will display on screen. I appreciate that they don't want you to lose the remote, but it can be annoying if you try to put the remote back in the carrying case.

What a great product. Good design. Good performance. Wish the battery would keep a charge while it’s in storage. Other than that minor inconvenience, zero complaints just lots of family fun!

Love the portability. Wish it had native Netflix, but it has a lot of input options! Really liking it. It's a lot of fun in our outdoor space.

Fun, portable, and well-made, this projector has been a staple in our family since we purchased. From movie nights in the yard to using it as a giant screen on a basement wall, it has been a hit. Would highly recommend.

The BenQ proector is great! We use it for movie nights, and sunday school classes. I like the feature that it can be either rear or front projecting. It's bright, and is pretty easy to set up.
