BenQ PD3420Q 34" WQHD HDR Designer Monitor Reviews

4.7 Rating 7 Reviews
The color match is not too bad but still not perfect and lines and fonts quality are not perfect and hairy, so for me it was waisted $800.00 Probably ok for games but not for designers.

As a senior product designer in the tech field, the BenQ PD3420Q makes a wow factor statement. This isn't just another monitor; it's a sleek, expansive canvas that seems purpose-built for creative professionals who demand both style and substance. With its generous 34-inch ultrawide screen and elegant design, it immediately catches the eye with the design and performs with its extra wide screen where you can look at all your windows all day long. The monitor doesn't just look good; I love how functional it is on TOP of it looking good on my desk. The height adjustment, tilts, and swivels - it checked all of my boxes. The Pantone-validated color accuracy means what you see is exactly what you'll get in print or digital media. Designers and photographers will appreciate the near-perfect color reproduction - Looking at colors all day long, you want to make sure that the colors appear correctly. For designers and photographers, color is language and I think the guys at BenQ nailed it. It's an investment. But for professionals who spend hours in front of a screen, it's like buying a high-quality ergonomic chair – worth every penny. In the past, on the weekends, I don't like looking at my cheap monitors but with this monitor, I love my custom settings where I can read my ebooks on the big screens in black and white and renders it so well that it looks like a kindle. I love showing my friends and family my pro move of switching across my 3 settings: my apple setting, my warm tone setting for late nights and my reading black and white mode. It really gets me in the right headspace too. In the past, a lot of my monitors in the past had poor resolution, lack of color matching, uneven backlighting, cheap build quality, but fear not - the BenQ PD3420Q 34" WQHD HDR Designer Monitor has gotten your back (and your eyes).

I am a graphic designer and the monitor image quality, resolution and color verification are very imortant to me to see my work. So when my old Eizo monitor died I went shopping. I looked at Eizo for a wide screen monitor because I just needed more space and quality. I was shocked to find the Eizo was almost $6000! After I got over the shock, I compared the specifications to the BenQ 34" and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was very close... enough for me to decide in it's favor. The image quality is amazing, set up and control do not cause me any stress. Also, the design of the monitor and desk top stand appeals to my minimalist easthetic. Finally, the price for all this wonderfulness left me enough in my bank account for that trip to Italy I had been dreaming of. My suggestion is... buy this BenQ monitor! Andiamo!

The BenQ PD3420Q 34" WQHD HDR Designer Monitor is AMAZING! The color is vivid and accutate for my graphic design, photography and architectural design needs. The image quality is very crisp. Typographic designs looks outstanding on it and the image quality for image blending is the best I have ever owned. It replaces a 24" EIZO ColorEdge CE240W monitor that cost a months rent to buy years ago. The BenQ 34" is very affordable and the size makes it feel like I have 2 monitors side-by-side. It promotes an efficient work flow. I love the design of the monitor as it is so minimal. Also the base is perfectly designed to match my office esthetics. I could not be happier with this purchase. I am now a BenQ fan!

The wide screen is perfect for multitasking across different programs. It pairs perfectly with Apples stage manager viewing. The color gamut on the monitors has been the closest match to actual production colors out of any monitor that we have used.

This is the perfect Ultrawide Monitor For MacBook Pros. I tried another brands monitor and I could never get the colors to match my MBP screen. The BenQ 34” has a built in MacBook color profile and it matched my MBP screen on day 1. Excellent monitor.

I was looking for a flat wide screen (non curved) that would give me additional real estate when working in various video editing software. The BenQ PD3420Q was perfect and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Add the color accuracy of the monitor and it is the perfect combination of useability along with performance at a cost effective price.
