“While there's much to love about the SW272Q, I had to send mine back for refund. BenQ touts the monitor fully compatible with Apple's MacBook Pro M3, and in terms of it working, that's true. Where the monitor falls down is when comparing it to Apple's native monitor. The MacBook Pro's Liquid Retina Display sports a pixel density of 218 ppi; The SW272Q's pixel density is only 109 ppi (50%). This makes for a stark contrast between the two monitors when working in tandem. BenQ's SW272U 4K version of the same monitor has a somewhat higher pixel density of 163 ppi. I'm going to order one of those in hopes it's a better fit along side Apple's magnificent Retina Display.”

“This is my second BenQ monitor, the first being the SW270C which I now have in our winter retreat. This monitor is perfect for me. The 2K gives me all the detail I need to edit photos and without scaling the 1440 offers text that I can read. The Matt screen is wonderful, a nice upgrade from the 270C, though the 270C was still great. I like how easy it is to calibrate both monitors. Thank you BenQ!”
