“The light was very easy to install, and well made with great detail to quality. It has greatly redused the stress on my eyes. It is being used on a 40" Curved Dell monitor with great siccess.
I highly recomend this product.”
“Very nice light. The only thing is it covers up the camera on the Studio Display, so I had to put a small peice of thick double sided tape to help give enough clerance. The tape also helps hold the light to the display since it feels like it could fall off without it if I move the display.”
“I read articles recommending monitor light bars for home office setups, but I wasn't sure about their utility, particularly at the price point. I already had a desk lamp, but the base took up desktop real estate, and I couldn't place it directly over my keyboard, where I did most of my work. I put the BenQ ScreenBar Halo and the webcam accessory on my Christmas list, and I got the accessory but not the ScreenBar Halo!
I bought the ScreenBar Halo and set it up, and I was amazed at the difference it made in lighting my workspace. The wireless remote control is smooth and works as advertised, and the accessory supports my webcam, although I think it should be built in. Most people I know who own a desktop PC place a webcam on the monitor. I would also like to see BenQ offer a companion ring light or similar lighting device for streaming. I did my homework and knew the ScreenBar Halo wouldn't meet that purpose, but I wonder how many thought it could do double-duty as a workspace light and streaming light.
I gave the desk lamp to my wife for her sewing table, and I'm a big fan of the ScreenBar Halo. It's the desktop component I didn't know I needed until I tried it!I came across articles suggesting monitor light bars for home office setups, but I was skeptical about their utility at the price point. “The ScreenBar Halo is a triumph of industrial design--beautiful to look at yet inconspicuous, effective in shining variable, soft or bright light, forward and to the back, to illuminate the desktop or behind the screen. Satisfying and functional in the way that only a beautiful appliance can be.”
