ZOWIE U2 Wireless Mouse for Esports Reviews

4.5 Rating 36 Reviews
This has been the first mouse in a long time that did everything right. There is no obstructive software, and the mouse does what you want it to do. The wireless aspect has been flawless and I've never been caught with a dead battery once; the charging is so seamless and simple.

I was skeptical about the mouse at first but very quickly became my main play mouse with how light and comfortable it felt very impressed.

It's another a great gaming mouse in the zowie family, the size is little smaller than the Gpro super light, but not much. If you have a small hand I think U2 is much better compared to G Pro. Its a must-try gaming mouse in 2024 The only thing I wish is for Zowie to improve the click latency

It may not have the highest polling rate out there. It may not have all the fancy RGB accessories. But it just performs. Every time. Comfortable, and reliable. I’ve tried other mice and I’m coming back to this one again and again. I have it on a glass pad and I’m not exaggerating to say the U2 has raised my skill ceiling considerably. And I’ll be using it for quite a long time, I suspect.

Zowie U2 review from 2 year Superlight user This short review will focus on shape so that if anyone happens to have similar hand size/grip or tried similar mice they can better decide if the U2 is right for them. My hand size is ~17 x 9 cm. See attached images for mouse grip (U2, superlight, x2 mini) I’ve tried a few different mice over the past few years, but have always gone back to the superlight and have put by far the most time into it. The first thing I noticed when trying the U2 was how much better the back of it feels in my palm. It “fills” my hand almost like an ergo mouse, but since the sides are thinner, micro adjustments feel better than on any ergo, and a bit better than with the superlight. The thinner sides seem to be better for my aim, but other mice less wide than the superlight I have tried have felt uncomfortable/unstable. This is not the case with the U2. Zowie’s page for the U2 makes a lot of claims about left/right hand balance and thumb/ring finger placement. My hand placement on both mice feels comfortable, but I would notice some discomfort/pain in my thumb and left side of hand after long sessions with the superlight. This is not the case with the U2. I love the clicks on both mice. I think it’s worth noting that although the U2 definitely has better side button feel/placement for anyone that uses them, as someone who doesn’t use them much they can get in the way of my thumb placement. Did not have this issue with the smaller superlight side buttons. With that said, if anyone has similar hand size/grip and loves the superlight shape, I encourage you to try out the U2 as I believe there’s a good chance it could be an upgrade. If you have larger hands (19cm+) you may want to wait for the U1.

It works as expected: a lightweight wireless mouse for quick reactions. The battery life is long enough that I forget to charge and the charging dock/receiver is easy to use and not too large. But the best feature of the mouse is the lack of any packaged software that I need to use to change the DPI. NO DRIVERS NEEDED! Free at last.

The unique shape of this mouse fits nicely in my hand it’s comfortable to hold and use. The clicks on the buttons are nice short and have a good sound. The coating on the mouse is great and even when my hands get sweaty I don’t have trouble with my grip on it. Either my thumb is a little short or the side buttons are a little far forward because I have to reach to get a firm click on the front side button. I do wish the mouse had a higher polling rate but that’s really my only complaint if you can call it that otherwise a great little device that shipped out quick and delivered within the week.
