“I believe the only advantage of the x300g is the fact that it is somewhat portable and it being a short throw projector. It let's you game on a huge screen while still utilizing the least amount of space.
But here's what I don't like. It's not very bright, and it heats up very quickly. Also, the speakers on this projector are surprisingly bad. You almost have to raise the volume to the max to get a decent sound. And if you want to use a sound system, you must use the HDMI arc port (which only has one port). It's quite shocking how a $1799 projector only has three ports in total (with no audio jack).
If you're looking for a gaming projector, I would recommend the x500i instead (or maybe the tk700/tk710 series).”
