However it was totally less than ideal unfortunately due to its overpowering and overwhelming smell and taste of cider vinegar which I found most unpleasant. There was a citrus aftertaste that was not able to banish the vinegar taste.
Whilst the reviews I had read online prior to ordering did point out that cider vinegar was an ingredient having studied the ingredients on the bottle the highest percentage was the vinegar. In my opinion and experience the high vinegar content ruins what I expected to be a fruity, flavoursome, flowery botanical drink that would be perfect in a long glass with ice , lemon and soda . To be fair to Botovio they swiftly reimbursed me for the £30 odd I spent so excellent customer service. So I am left with a virtually full bottle of this undrinkable beverage which is not even suitable for cooking with”
“As someone who is unable to drink due to health issues, I have been searching for something that tasted great. Now I've found Botivo I have stoppped looking as Botivo ticks all the boxes. It is utterly delicious, can be mixed with a variety of mixers and gives you that strong, lingering, satisfying taste that I used to get from certain alcohols.”
