“I bought this helmet about 2 years ago, the helmet spent most of its time sitting on the top shelf of my safe, and was only occasionally brought out for training purposes.
A few weeks ago a friend invited me out on a bike ride down a very steep several mile mountain road, with the goal just being to ride as fast as we can. I am not much of a bike guy, so the night before I ended up grabbing the helmet to take on the ride. I looked pretty funny, but it was a good thing I took it.
3/4 of the way down the mountain I hit a rock and was flung over the handlebars at about 25mph, and hit the pavement head first. The helmet absorbed all impact, and I walked away from the wreck without so much as a headache. Hand bleeding and knee pads were shattered, but the helmet ate the first impact with no more than some scratches.
5 stars, protects head as advertised.”
“Shipping was about 4 business days. I was expecting it to take a month but sure as heck, it came in less than a week. Overall this helmet fits like a glove. I was a bit worried id have to return it and get the Lg/Xl instead of the M/L. For a $350 helmet, it's worth it. one thing I've learned is don't go cheap with armor but this helmet is perfect and has a very low price. Highly suggest it. Thank you Bulletproof Zone!”
“Nice helmet. I purchased it using the basic sizing info on the site. It arrived in a couple of weeks. The outer shell and rail kit are of good quality. IMO the pad set and restraint system are cheap and low end quality. I my intention was to mount a PVS-14 NVG to the helmet. In doing so, the helmet fit was too loose and would not stay put. I knew the helmet liner would require some sort of adjustable mechanism to keep the helmet tight with the NVG mounted. I did not want to add counter weights to the helmet to accommodate the CG of the helmet with NVG attached .On Amazon I purchased a Team Wendy retention system & pad set for an additional $200 and now, I have a reliable working rig that I can trust with my expensive NVG. I also purchased the Rhino II titanium NVG mount and the Surefire helmet light on Amazon.So all in all I have $900.00 into this setup, minus the NVG (It's an expensive endevor to purchase a night vision system and reliably mount it on a helmet) but I have achieved my goal of being able to protect my head and work in day or night. The helmet is well worth the investment and a solid purchase. I would have spent the money on the Team Wendy upgrades regardless of the NV gear. If you are going to wear a helmet for hours you want it to be comfortable.”

“build quality is excellent the arc rails are sturdy velcro is good and there are bungees on the front of the rails for NVG mounts
helmet pads are standard as expected, i'd suggest swapping them out for extra comfort
my head size is ~23 inches so i ordered a medium/large and it works great
(the helmet shown on the product page isn't what you get but they did name it correctly [MICH 2000])
