A Lori Mitchell DesignLeave it to Lori Mitchell to capture the spirit and excitement of the coming of the New Year! Baby New Year, a caricature commonly associated with the "birth" of the New Year and passing of the prior year, is often seen as a symbol in editorial cartoons. This Baby New Year stands upon a silver ball, wearing a diaper (check out the back view where his cute little cheeks are slightly exposed!) and a black festive top hat. He holds a gold horn to blow when the New Year arrives and of course there's a sash across his chest proclaiming "Happy New Year!"  What a terrific figure to display year after year on what some people consider a very significant day.

He’s very sweet but I wish it was larger. Mine arrived in the original box but still had a large chip under his arm.

It’s hard to find figures for New Years if you are putting together a small scene. This worked perfectly, still small but large enough. I love the detail that went into to the Baby New Year.
