“PBed Throw is in reality a Sofa Throw

Purchased the olive green velvet cotton throw during the Black Friday promotional period.
The quality of this bed throw is good, although the storage bag it arrived in had a broken zip. Requested a replacement bag, was told to just return the order as they don't have extra bags!
I was enticed on the pictures used on their social media that show this throw to fit comfortably over what appears to be a double bed - not so, a case of smoke and mirrors from their advertising department.
Sadly however, this does not even fit a standard double bed either horizontally (where it only just touched the sides of the mattress but does not drape over) or vertically (where it measures basically half the width of the mattress)
Would happily have paid more for a larger bed cover. This is more a sofa size throw than a bed cover as described
Was approached by Christy to remove this accurate feedback with the offer of a discount on a future order (presumptuous on their part that I would need or want to buy anything else from them and only encourages extra revenue for them). When I turned this down, I was offered a free towel - again turned down as I have no need for any towels.
I then suggested a discount on the item I had purchased, believing it to be a bed throw as advertised and promoted and instead I would use it as a sofa throw (which is actually what it is due to the small size).
Initially was advised that a refund amounting to a 25% had been effected, even quoting the monetary value of the refund.
Then was told is was a 25% discount value off any other purchase even though I had already turned this offer down at the onset. On querying this, was told to simply return the order.
They cannot seem to collectively agree between the various customer service representatives what they are offering in terms of recompense or resolve the issue effectively
Highly unprofessional and not at all what I was expecting from a well known brand such as Christy's. They do not acknowledge their misrepresentation of goods by simply resolving in an amicable way, or stick to any offer they have previously made to the customer, going back on a previously stated offer of resolution.
Christy's seem more concerned about this accurate feedback being removed as it may highlight the issue with this throw to other potential customers, than resolving the problem. Each mail with an offer (same offers which I had already turned down) ended with a request "will you now please remove your feedback on XYZ", this is their only concern, not resolving the issue itself to the satisfaction of the customer.
On the basis that Christy's have ignored requests to confirm that they are refunding a partial discount by way of refund (turned down offers of discounts on future purchases several times), this item was returned to Christys on 18.12.22”
