“Although these replacement ink jet cartridges manufactured in Malaysia appeared on line advertised as being HP ink cartridges, they are obviously without HP identification and all packaging of them was 3rd party. Despite this, they easily fit into our HP Model 8030e OfficeJet Pro compact copier and have been performing for the first 20-30 copies totally without issue once we reloaded the operating system in order to bypass HP's grip on our operating the copier. The HP Insta-Ink program was so deceptive, arbitrary and totally without domestic customer service. It nearly took an act of congress to cancel our subscription - which only took place because of our action removing HP charge authorizations from our credit card account. HP "ink rental" is a deceptive, restraint of trade. HP should take a more transparent, and honest approach if they want to sell their ink cartridges to end users and to keep them as loyal HP customers.”
