“In short: Not worth it. It all comes back to the time allotted to presentations: Too many long presentations (ironically rushed through), too few breaks, not enough lab time. Adults can generally stay focused listening for 40 minutes, 60 minutes is pushing it - and the presentation modules were often longer than that. The presentations are not made to be engaging either, it's just a mass of information to be consumed like the brain is a passive receptor - but that's not how we learn. This is not a knock against the instructor, this is a knock against the format. The presentations are arguably worse and more time consuming than just doing the Beacon lessons, and too complete and time consuming to be a complement. The labs are very linear which makes them less effective - this is probably partially due to the poor time management for the presentations. There is no choice but to streamline the labs because the presentations have been given priority.”

“We were not able to complete the lab as Lab 7 & Lab 8 were not available by Palo Alto. Except from configuring the Strata Cloud Manager, it could be really helpful if we had the ability to test all this configuration from some test workstations in lab environment i.e generate some traffic and check the paths that are used. Then we would be able to understand better the path/QoS in SDWAN and it would be an opportunity to troubleshoot further.”
