“There should be more labs, but shorter ones. They should be evenly spread throughout the course. Would also benefit from parts of the lab where you test he configuration you have done, looking at flows, generating traffic etc.”

“The course is too much Theory oriented, without many hands-on experience nor any freedom to configure additional things (such as HA pairs, Standard VPN, Replacement of a device, CloudBlades and more). Also, it's understood that is not a troubleshooting training, but a minimal set of outputs to be seen will help in understanding how the Overlay gets build (i.e. Underlay/Customer LAN/Overlay routing outputs, SDWAN tunnels building and relevant logs to prove the solution works)”

“Training started from the "basics" explaining what the ION devices are, proceeded to what kind of network topologies we might face and in the end showed some DevOps scripts that I think will be useful in the future as we are going towards the Network automation era.”

I would recommend this Palo Alto Networks training course to a friend or colleague

“The course and lab manuals were accessed through an app that was very cumbersome and frustrating to use. We are prohibited from downloading the app to be able to use the manuals offline so the only was to make it easier to use was to print it as a pdf 125 pages at a time, which meant we weren't able to cut and paste anything from the lab manuals. The labs were also very basic and didn't cover stuff like HA that would be useful to things that we would do with this equipment if we decided to use this solution.”
