I would recommend this Palo Alto Networks training course to a friend or colleague

“The course layout itself is good. When we did the introduction round, it seemed several people did not fulfill the pre-requisites for the course, and as a consequence Alin had to adjust the level of the course to please the majority of the attendees. Unfortunately for me personally the consequence was limited learning for the last 50% of the course. It felt 60% of the time was used for explaining concepts (such as what decryption does, how GP works) on a level similar to the EDU-210 course, 35% was Alin doing the labs and 5% was set aside as lab-time. Disclaimer: The percenage are taken from the top of my head, if Alin disagrees then that may be right :) I might have had the wrong expectations for the course. I was of the impression it would teach us hands-on experience in troubleshooting with lots of labs. In reality we had a total of 1.5 (?) hours set aside for labs, and that was during the first 2.5 days. After that 0. Of course we have access to the lab materials to do on our own, but what's the point of attending a course then? Then I might as well not take the course and find the labs on my own and work on my own initiative. For me personally the point of attending and paying for a course is to not only depend on our own initiative, but actually receive teaching and guidance while doing something we're told to do, and time is set aside to do it. Again, I don't think it was due to the instructor. I think the instructor did a good job adjusting the course to the majority of the attendees, but for people that fulfilled the pre-requisites, the learning outcome was less than expected.”
