One-size fits all in terms of level of understanding of XSOAR is not ideal. Lab exercises and course book are somewhat outdated, although most of the content still works. In some cases this means it requires some debugging/testing/fixing on your own. Personally I learn from debugging and fixing things, others not. Having access to the lab environment is a big plus. Having access to the lab materials and working on our own would be enough to finish the course in half the time. Having an in-person training would be much better. Online training where no one has a camera on makes it hard to be engaged, and for the instructor to know if people understood what was told.

Multiple issues with the lab guide / labs (Some of the instructions in the labs were incorrect and had to be resolved by the instructor and some of the items from the marketplace were depreciated so again had to work around those

The course could contain more usecases, at least 2/topic. Also, the problems that made some labs not work properly should be fixed.

It is a good training that covers all the bases, but the pace was too slow for me. Some of the material is based on older versions of the rool and do not work. Lab is good. Some basics are too basics for me (e.g. what is a docker container).

The course was adequate in covering a broad range of topics. The material was 2 years old and so out of date compared with the latest version of the software and as such required old versions of the software. The resulted in problems during the lab exercises, with many of the students finding that the XSOAR did not functionn as expected even though the instructions had been followed correctly. Sometimes the fix was to 'turn it off and on again' which showed that the software was 'flakey'. This distracted from the learning and left the students confused. Using old versions of the software and content was not helpful. Although the course did cover architecture and the interaction with other systems it still ended up focusing too much on the 'what' to do rather than then 'why'.
