course provided a great introduction to XSOAR and course sections were well planned and manageable. lab exercise book does need updating to reflect the online lab configuration - text file provided for additional steps and keys was provided - so maybe a reference to check the text file for corrections at the appropriate exercises would have been appreciated. Abdel, however, was always available to provide guidance during these issues when escalated to him.

The course was good overall, but some of the lab content was inconsistent with the version used. Additionally, I would have liked to see more on implementing integrations and automations using a CI/CD pipeline. More context on this topic would be beneficial, as making changes directly in a UI without source control should not be standard practice.

Enjoyed the course. Well laid out and instructor did a good job delivering it. Need to make sure that the Labs are brought up to date though. As someone who is new to Cortex, the Labs were the first time of ever using it. Trying to follow a Lab that is wrong doesn't help the student, nor the instructor.

The lab software experience often did not match the notes so there was a lot of confusion from that. The notes are from 2022 so there has been plenty of time to update them. The lab software experience often had parts which simply didn't work the first time and the 'fix' was to run the same procedure again, or to remake the same playbook for example. This is frustrating and stops you learning the high level "hows and whys" of the software because you end up concentrating on exactly which button to click on. Overall I came away with the impression that the software is very 'flakey' and not something I would want to rely on. The coarse was an example of dreadful security practise, for example most of the lab work was done as 'admin' which is not attributable rather than as a named account with admin rights. I understand the simplicity of using admin in a teaching lab but there should be reminders not to do this on real-world systems. Fundamentally this software exists to process alerts. In other words another piece of software (e.g. a SIEM) has already decided that the thing in question (say, an email) is bad. What was not explained is why would this software essentially have to repeat all the evaluations that have already been done to determine that the email is bad.

Le cours était très intéressant, néanmoins nous avons couvert en environ 3 jours les 4 jours prévus de formation ce qui est dommage.
