“It's very aesthetically pleasing and good quality. The frame mostly doesn't squeak and is solid. I once had a Benson's bed frame and would say this is as good in terms of how solid it is, with three things that could be improved: 1)The lacquer on the bed slats is too strong. I am chemically sensitive and cough so badly if I need to put something under the bed. This makes me worry for my pets and I'd request VOC-free treatments. 2) Some slats were slightly split, nothing major, and more slats for heavy latex mattresses would make this bed perfect because a 6cm gap is optimal. I've put an old duvet over the slats and it's actually very comfortable and I cant feel the centre bar, so that's a plus. If necessary, I'll get some boards to support the mattress.”
