“Charging is painful with case installed:
Lower lense is getting of groove / location when removing the silicone case to access the charging rubber flap.
Lenses are not replaceable parts.
This is my 3rd Fly6 and definitely the silicone case is required to keep it from weather element rain, etc. Otherwise they don't last.
Fly12 and silicone case are better designed in that respect.”
“The separate hard plastic/glass lens protector inserts come out of the rubber every time you peel the rubber away to charge the Fly6. The lens inserts are just too fiddly. The Fly12 protector does not have these glass inserts and also leaves the charging port uncovered, so why are they needed on the Fly6? The new Fly6 design has improved a lot with charging port on the side instead of on the top on the previous version, so should be better dealing with a very wet ride??”
“The Fly6 GEN 3 Silicone Case is TOTALLY USELESS! There is no access to the charging port when installed. Therefore it is necessary to remove the case each time it requires a charge. I tried to cut an opening to the port. I used the product once and have placed it on the back shelf for no further use.”
“It is useless. No access to the charging port unless you remove the case first. Poorly engineered in my opinion. Having to remove the Fly from the bike and then removing the case JUST TO CHARGE the Fly makes it useless. I will NOT recommend Fly6GEN3 Silicone Case.”
