“The silicone case is a must for the Fly6 Gen 3 camera with light when riding without mudguards. From my experience the Fly 6 Gen 3 alone is unable to deal with the constant light or heavy spray from the rear wheel when caught in the rain. The silicone cover offers another layer of protection, but while the material is waterproof the design is not completely waterproof in itself to offer the user a package that is worry free about what is happening when using the Fly 6 Gen 3 which is a great product but not without its failings when riding in the wet. Water can still seep in around the edges of the cover over time and remain in. However I would say the silicone cover is an essential accessory when using the Fly6 Gen 3 in the wet.”
