Important to remind users to keep the seal closed on the side of the Fly6 after removing the charger otherwise water can get in if it rains and this will irreversibly damage the Fly6.”
“Great product. Unit is much smaller than the Gen2 but less battery life. Tested the other morning on a gravel roll. Light and HD video gave me 3 hours of ride time with 20% battery remaining.”
“Its good, the image quality is very impressive. The microphone doesn't really do anything- as my FB hub is super loud..... I find that the battery life is less than what I was expecting, to get a 4-5 hr recording, I need to use other rear lights, or use a lower quality recording. I haven't purchased the front-facing camera. Sadly in my region there is no front license plate, so hopefully I don't get smoked as all I will have is a car without any ID. Overall its a good purchase, the price is really good and its small and doesn't weigh anything. Overall its good and I will keep using it to see if things get better with the battery life.”
“Very happy with the product. Nicely packaged into a small light case with convenient mounting. Plenty of options for the light and the ability to select favourite settings makes using them much easier. The download software is very easy to use and has simple preview, export and snapshot features. The video imagery was fantastically clear, and the audio recording also clear.”
“Very pleased with the new Fly6 Gen3. I already have the latest Fly12 and have been very impressed with it. The Fly6 has not disappointed, the build quality is excellent recording quality is equally as good as the Fly12. The big improvement from my Fly12 is the lanyard which is now elasticated, making it easier to use.”
“Good quality build and the unit is large but does what it is designed to do. It's a shame the charge time is so short, some longer rides mean you either run out of battery or need to find a way to charge up.
The picture quality is great and linking with the App allows easy management of the clips should you need to use them.
As a rear light, the unit works as well as any other with programable modes making you identifiable to other road users, even during the day.”
